Fish is an important part of food security. For many people in Nigeria, fish provide the main source of animal protein and they make up to 22% of animal protein consumption overall. Our goal to contribute to fisheries, as well as food and nutrition security, is through:
• Subsistence and local consumption: Providing a direct supply of fish products for consumption to various markets all year round.
• Accessible protein; we ensure that fish being one of the protein sources available is continuously accessible to all Nigeria irrespective of location.
